Tri-Cities Family Fun: Holiday Lights 2020

The author of Tri-Cities Family Fun has published a guide of Holiday Lights around the Tri-Cities WA region that includes a Google map of lighted homes. The guide is viewable at https://tricitiesfamilyfun.wixsite.com/familyfunwa/holiday-lights. Our community is filled with beautiful homes sure to spread some cheer and make this season brighter.

The author asks that you review the map for lighting start days, times, and radio station information if it applies. The author will be adding homes to the map until December 15. Three Rivers Folklife Society’s “Homebound Holiday Concert” – December 5, 2020

Three Rivers Folklife is delighted to announce that our traditional Holiday Concert will appear on Saturday, December 5, 2020. As with this year’s Tumbleweed Music Festival, this will be a virtual show, featuring pre-recorded sets of holiday tunes from four wonderful groups:

– Magical Strings
– Curtis and Loretta
– Heidi Muller and Bob Webb

Mid-Columbia Mastersingers: “Home for the Holidays” – December 3-27, 2020

Mid-Columbia Mastersingers (MCM)is pleased to have STCU as the presenting sponsor for “Home for the Holidays” a series of twelve online performances during the month of December, as our gift to the community. The content will be a combination of new recorded performances and curated archival videos of previous Mastersingers holiday concerts.

In recognition of the hardships the hospitality industry has also faced, we are pleased to partner with twelve local restaurants for this program. Purchase takeout or delivery and enjoy “Dinner and a Show.” The participating restaurants are Boaida Brazilian Grill, Cedars at Pier one, Culture Shock Bistro, Dickey’s Barbeque Pit, Dovetail Joint Restaurant, Emerald of Siam Thai Restaurant and Lounge, Ethos Bakery & Café, Fat Olives Restaurant & Catering, Kabob House Mediterranean Grill, Picante Mexican Taqueria, Sake Express Sushi & Teriyaki, and TC Cider House.

The twelve holiday performances will stream on Vimeo beginning December 3 @ 7 p.m. Once a performance has debuted it will be available on demand through Sunday, December 27 @ 10 p.m. For our first program, we’ll be sharing our holiday concert from December 2015 featuring our Treble Choir and Boys’ Choir, including guest performers Chelsea Spence-Crane on harp and Bells of the Desert.
