A Message to Email Subscribers to “Tri-Cities Events & Things to Do” – June 21, 2021

All –

I have been using Google’s FeedBurner service to manage email subscribers to my blog “Tri-Cities Events & Things to Do.” Google has announced that they are eliminating the FeedBurner service sometime in July. I’m in the process of transferring the list of email subscribers to the service provided by https://follow.it. When this action is complete I will disable my account with FeedBurner and subscribers will start receiving emails from follow.it.

The change you will see in your email inbox is as follows when this action is complete:
Instead getting emails from “noreply+feedproxy@google.com” with a subject line containing the blog post title you will get an email from follow.it with a subject line of “Tri-Cities Events & Things to Do – new message”.

Also, in the first email message you get from follow.it you will see the following statement at the beginning of the email message:
“You receive this email because publisher of feed Tri-Cities Events & Things to Do imported you to this list, claiming you were already subscribed to this content in other ways previously. Please confirm that this is correct and you want to receive this content by clicking here, or decline if you don’t want to receive it.”

So you will have to opt-in to continue your subscription.

If you have any question, contact me via email: webmaster@tri-citiesguide.org.
