Paws For A Cause Featuring Color Blind
Clover Island Inn – 435 Clover Island Dr. Kennewick

Tickets: $40 which includes live entertainment provided by Colorblind, Dinner, and Dessert!
Pet OverPopulation Prevention (POPP) is having a summer concert fundraiser! This will be a night of fun under the stars with live music featuring Colorblind! There will be food, and dessert as we dance the night away at Clover Island.
Net proceeds from the concert will directly help animals right here in the Tri-Cities! There will be a full bar to purchase drinks from, so plan for a ride home or designated driver and have a carefree night for an even better cause.

Tumbleweed Music Festival Free Live Concert
Free to attend at 7:30 p.m. at Howard Amon Park in Richland
Due to the tremendous progress towards reopening through efforts to beat back the pandemic, we are very happy to announce that there will be a LIVE concert in Richland’s Howard Amon Park, on Saturday, August 21st, beginning at 7:30pm! This concert will feature three headline acts, and will be recorded live to become the traditional Saturday Night concert in this year’s virtual festival.
The Saturday Concert is traditionally a fundraiser for the Tumbleweed Festival, but to honor the support and appreciation that the community has given us for the last 24 years, this yea’’s concert is Free
!
Our headline performers are:
– Badger Mountain Dry Band, our outstanding, local Progressive Bluegrass band.
– Cecilia Eng, a Portland, Oregon-based singer who specializes in “Filk” music, folk music which takes its inspiration from imaginative works of film and literature (Cecilia was inducted into the Filk Hall of Fame in 2013); and
– Hank Cramer and Friends, featuring the long-time folksinger and Tumbleweed regular Hank Cramer, and a variety of his friends (also all Tumbleweed regulars) for a wide-ranging set that’s sure to include nautical, cowboy, traditional, and sing-along songs!
The Tumbleweed Music Festival is sponsored by Three Rivers Folklife Society, and co-sponsored by the City of Richland.

Mid-Columbia Ballet: The Garden Party – Note: cancelled

Reserved seating tickets: $75, must be 21+
Join us for our 7th annual Donor Celebration, The Garden Party, held this year on August 21st, 7.30pm at The REACH Museum. The evening is marked by small bites, a variety of beverages including local wine, and dance vignettes. This is a perfect time for donors to make their annual gifts as well as introduce new friends to the Ballet. All proceeds benefit the performance and outreach programs of Mid-Columbia Ballet, Southeastern Washington’s premier performing dance company.

The Benton-Franklin Fair & Rodeo would be honored with your participation in this year’s Grand Parade celebrating our wonderful community. The parade will be in Downtown Kennewick on Saturday, Aug. 21, 2021 at 10 a.m. Bring your lawn chair and settle in for the show. You don’t want to miss this parade! It’s the best around!

Try Hockey for Free with The Kraken
Hapo Ice Pavilion, 6600 Burden Blvd. in Pasco
From 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
Free for ages 4-9 – must register
This Try Hockey for Free event is designed to provide kids ages 4 to 9 the opportunity to try hockey in a Fun, safe environment with trained coaching staff. No experience necessary! There will be plenty of assistance on hand to be sure your child has the best first hockey experience and answer any questions you might have.
Tri City Amateur Hockey Association (TCAHA) is working on getting as much hockey gear available to have kids use. While the Kraken wait for their Iceplex to open, their coaches are working with local rinks and hockey organizations to offer Youth Try Hockey for Free events around the state of Washington.
