CBC’s Theatre Arts Program is proud to present the world premiere production of The Sun is a Man by Tri-City Native Firen Williams.
Directed by guest artist and Oregon Shakespeare Festival Alum, Vinecia Coleman, The Sun is a Man is an action-packed one-act, sure to delight and inspire new conversation about women in theatre. In the heat of the desert in 1865, two women from different worlds collide: a stagecoach bandit armed with her revolver and a southern belle armed with her fan. This clandestine meeting brings up important conversations about what it means to be a woman and how femininity in any form is powerful, important, and dangerous.
